Episode Summary

A new student named Princess Morbucks arrives at Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. Everyone treats her nicely but, she acts rude and stuck-up to her peers. Finally, she came upon Twiggy, a class hamster, and says she is ugly. After hearing the insult, the hamster runs so fast on her treadmill that the glass breaks up. The Powerpuff Girls save her and everyone cheers for their heroes. But, Princess is not cheering. She thinks about how nice it would be to become a Powerpuff Girl. She goes and begs the girls to be a new member. However, the girls laugh and refuse her offer, because Princess doesn’t have any super powers and they don’t want her to get hurt. This causes Princess to cry to her father. In order to get his daughter silenced, her father gives her a giant wad of cash.

One morning, when the Powerpuff Girls went away to save the people from the robbery in the bank, Princess follows them, but she only messes everything up, causing the robbers to escape, so Blossom tells her that what they are doing is very dangerous and that she doesn’t have any superpowers or any crime-fighting experience to become a Powerpuff girl. Naturally, Princess becomes very angry and runs off to her father and whines to him about the ordeal, and then blames him for not giving her enough money to buy her good gadgets. Her dad then give her a big silver briefcase and she becomes happy.

At the next day, Princess arrives at the school. She is angry at the Powerpuff Girls and gives a speech about how they humiliated her and turned everyone against her. Ms. Keane tells her that fighting isn’t allowed in the building. This causes her to blow up the school wall, attacking the girls in the process. Buttercup then rushes into battle, but is defeated. Bubbles then rushes, but is blasted by a powerful ray from Princess. Blossom then battles her and then effortlessly beat her with her sisters. She finally defeats Princess by using her ice breath. Princess, in tears, eventually asks them why they won’t let her be a Powerpuff Girl. Blossom tells her it’s because she’s just a spoiled brat. She continues by saying that being a Powerpuff Girl is not about getting one’s way, having the best stuff, being popular or being powerful, but about using one’s own unique abilities to help people and the world they all live in. Then she concludes that Princess has done nothing worthy of the name Powerpuff. Finally, Princess is then sent to jail and the episode ends.

In the episode “Stray Bullet,” the girls briefly added another fourth member, a squirrel whom Bubbles had given Chemical X, whom they named “Bullet.” The Powerpuff Girls first meet Bullet when Bubbles rescued Bullet from a hawk and takes the squirrel home. During the night, Bubbles feeds the squirrel drops of Chemical X in hopes that help the squirrel heal faster, which soon leads to Bullet developing powers similar to the Powerpuff Girls’. The girls officially adopt Bullet as a Powerpuff. However, Bullet feels that she must protect her animal friends and decides to go back to the woods.

Bullet still resides in the forests outside Townsville, where she protects the animal community, but she returns to help the Powerpuff Girls from time to time. The only other time Bullet appears in the series, however, is in “The City of Nutsville.” When Bubbles gets stung in the throat by a bee and is unable to speak, she calls on Bullet to help her when angry squirrels swarm the city and she is unable to communicate with them. They eventually figure out that the squirrels were trying to retrieve their acorns, which were buried underneath the Mayor’s newly-planted statue. Bubbles and Bullet destroy the statue, and some time later, a new statue of the duo is placed in honor of all the squirrels in Townsville.

Bunny was the creation of the Powerpuff Girls. She was shown only once in “Twisted Sister”. The Powerpuff Girls each have a unique ingredient for her; sugar, spice, and everything nice. Just as each of the other Powerpuff Girls has a signature colour, hers is a light shade of purple.

In the episode “Twisted Sister,” the Girls created a fourth Powerpuff Girl named Bunny so that they could ease the burden of saving the town by themselves.

The Girls were too overworked for the day, so they sneak into the lab to create a fourth Powerpuff Girl. Unlike her predecessors, she was created by the girls using imitation objects of those which gave the girls life (artificial sweetener instead of sugar, dirt and twigs instead of spices, what the girls considered to be “everything nice”), and Chemical X added “accidentally” along with the beaker containing it. While she possessed the same powers as the girls and a similar color theme (having purple eyes and a purple dress to match), she has a hunch back, a stray tooth, big lips and a raggedy brown ponytail unlike the Powerpuff Girls. She couldn’t speak in complete English, so Bubbles gave her the name Bunny (although Buttercup named her Braces at first, much to Blossom’s chagrin). Bunny wants to please her creators, but her size and weight don’t help. However, despite of her physical and mental abnormality, they let Bunny join them in fighting crime. When they started their usual day of crime-fighting, she thought that having a gun made a person a criminal, and when she alone saw and alone confronted two cops taking in two crooks and brandishing guns, she threw the cops into jail, and started to release criminals, thinking they were good people.

As a result of her mishaps, the girls send Bunny away, only to be confronted by every convict Bunny released throughout the episode. To redeem herself and save the girls, she defeats every criminal herself. However, due to instability, after defeating the criminals, she exploded, making a flash of light. After which, a piece of her dress fell to ground as the girls kneeled to it in mourning.

Buttercup the third of The Powerpuff Girls known as “The Toughest Fighter.” Her signature color is lime green and she is also best known for her aggressive and tomboyish demeanor and dislike of “girly” things.

Whoopass Stew – A Sticky Situation is the first ever appearance of The Powerpuff Girls. It was a project that Craig McCracken made while in CalArts college in 1992. He sent it off to Cartoon Network, who renamed it “Powerpuff Girls” as “Whoopass Girls” was an inappropriate name for the channel’s target audience. McCracken had four shorts planned out, but only this one got finished due to Cartoon Network’s lack of interest in the original concept.

The opening title begins with an early version of Professor Utonium using the original recipe of sugar, spice and everything nice to try and create the perfect little girl, but he accidentally adds a can of Whoopass and creates The Whoopass Girls. In a similar way to the current series, the girls race towards an early Gangreen Gang and beat them up.

Main story

The Amoeba Boys have robbed the local bank and the girls attack them, but end up getting stuck to them. They then fly them to the sun where they apparently evaporate from the heat and the day is saved.

Bubbles is the second of The Powerpuff Girls known as “The Joy and the Laughter.” Her signature color is sky blue and she is best known for her ditzy, playful, naive, and friendly nature.

Like the other girls, not much as changed to her personality. Unlike her original counterpart, Bubbles doesn’t cry as much, and is shown to be less sensitive and more mature. She is shown to be a ditz. She is also shown to be bright and naive like her original counterpart. However, she is also shown to be more aggressive then her original counterpart. (Examples: The Stayover, Horn Sweet Horn, Strong-Armed, and the short Run, Blossom, Run!.) But she is mostly the same as her original counterpart.

Her appearance differs from her original counterpart, as she has shorter pig tails and blue clips in her hair. Also unlike her original counterpart, she has visible hair bands for her hair bunches and lighter blue in her appearance. Also, her pigtails are placed on top of her head, instead of at the sides of her head. She wears a light blue dress with a horizontal black stripe along the middle, as well as black Mary Jane’s and white socks.

Blossom is the confident and courageous leader of The Powerpuff Girls. Dubbed “Commander and the Leader,” she is best known for her level head and determination, as well as leading the girls into victory and saving the day.

little girls born with superpowers

The Powerpuff Girls is an American animated television series about three little girls born with superpowers who have dedicated their lives to fighting crime and the forces of evil. The series was created by animator Craig McCracken, and first produced by Hanna-Barbera (now Cartoon Network Studios) for Cartoon Network.

They live in the fictional city of Townsville, USA. They were created by Professor Utonium, who was attempting to make the perfect little girls by combining sugar, spice, and everything nice, when (courtesy of his assistant, Mojo Jojo) he accidentally knocked a glass of “Chemical X” into the mixture.

Black-haired, green-eyed, and dressed in green. She is “the toughest fighter” (i.e. the violent one). Her ‘special power’ is the ability to roll her tongue (Blossom and Bubbles cannot do this).
